Love the pina coladas and the brisket sliders are a must try!! All in all, it was a great vacation. The mini arcade and putt putt gives Dave and Buster/Gillians family fun center vibes. Property is clean and sanitized frequently throughout the day.
He kept checking on us and was very attentive. Tariq was our server at our cabana who gave excellent service.
The DJ cranked out all the hits and was so much fun. The waterpark is amazing! Get on the lazy river with your favorite drink of choice and just relax. Washer and Dryer which is nice to have when traveling with children. We bought groceries and he took them to our suite and helped us get set up. Steve, the bellman if they still call them that (lol) was so sweet. He made sure we had all we needed for the stay. This is a huge but very beautiful property. Jacob gave maps of the resort where everything is located. Jacob was the best! The check in was smooth and quick. The entrance in makes you feel like your entering into a tropical destination resort! The staff was very pleasant at check in. This room is PERFECT for family stays in Orlando. My family stayed at the Grove Resort June 1st for a 4 night stay in there two bedroom two bath (resort view) suite. This is the first hotel that I have stayed in where our beds weren’t made everyday, yet lots of cleaners are on site. I am surprised our beds weren’t made everyday though. We also had a great view, though we did pay extra for a Superior view. Our room was lovely which included facilities I.e washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridge freezer etc. There is only 1 restaurant open at tea time (Valencia) and menu the selection is pretty poor.ġ. A couple of days later the sick was still there. I informed the first person I saw (a lady checking your bags before you enter the pool) and asked her to escalate this to management so the sick could be cleaned. On our first day my daughter walked in a pile of sick that had been there for a while. The stairs to/ from your room are not cleaned. Only 1 life guard was manning the water slides so only 1 slide was open at a time.Ħ. What’s the point having a 4.00 check in if your room isn’t ready upon arrival.ĥ. Check in is at 4, however, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we had to wait half an hour before we could go to our room. Universal Studios is half an hour away so be prepared to spend roughly £30 each way on an Uber.Ĥ. The timings are completely all over the place and you will end up spending a fortune on Ubers, something we weren’t told when we booked through TUI.ģ. The hotel Shuttle bus service to/ from the parks is basically non existent. You are taking advantage of the fact that if you don’t hire a vehicle, you have no choice but to use the on site market, so are charging guests a fortune.Ģ. The hotel on site market is ridiculously overpriced. The activities aren’t all water based, there’s a huge indoor entertainment centre with arcade games and glow in the dark mini golf, the kids won’t know where to start! The resort feels secluded and self-contained, but you’re just a five minute drive to shops, restaurants and attractions on Highway 192, and only 10 minutes from Walt Disney World, with a complimentary shuttle bus included to take you to the door and back.ġ. There are other swimming pools if you’re looking for a more chilled vibe, and whatever pool you’re at, you’ll never be far away from a bar for refreshments. The Sufari water park is an attraction in it’s own right, complete with water slides, lazy river and a surf simulator. The suites are complete with kitchen and dining area, for those evenings when you want to chill after a busy day exploring. However, you’ll be hard pushed to want to leave this hotel with the facilities and activities they have on-site for all the family! A huge resort, with spacious suites that are up to 5 times the size of your average Orlando hotel room, this is perfect for families and groups alike. When you think of an Orlando holiday you think of Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and the many other theme parks, water parks and attractions that there are to visit.
